While Employee Assistance Plans, (EAPs) have been available for many years, their value has often been difficult to determine. With the ever-growing body of information available about the cost of depression, and other chronic diseases, in regards to presenteeism and absenteeism, the EAP has become recognized as a valuable benefit to both the employee and the employer.
