Arkansas Governor’s Roundtable

The Arkansas Governor's Roundtable on Health Care was established to build upon successful efforts undertaken by Arkansas leaders to address comprehensive health care reform in Arkansas. 
 
Governor Mike Beebe invited 30 Arkansans to serve on the Roundtable on Health Care. Caryol Hendricks, Executive Director of Employers’ Health Coalition, is one of the 30 Arkansans appointed to the Roundtable. The Roundtable includes consumers, business representatives, health-care representatives and community leaders who will work together to find new approaches and strategies for improving the health and health care of Arkansans. The Roundtable's chairman is Arkansas's Surgeon General, Dr. Joe Thompson, who led the selection of this group of concerned Arkansans.

"While health care is of vital importance to each of us as individuals, it's also an important statewide issue for business and economic development. Developing ways to improve the health and productivity of Arkansans will lead to happier lives and better opportunities for everyone in our State." Beebe said.
