Purchasing Opportunities

The genesis of the Employers’ Health Coalition is in purchasing. As employers we all struggle with the cost of healthcare. By working together, the employers who join together as EHC members have been able to negotiate excellent pricing across a wide variety of healthcare products.

The majority of our healthcare dollar is spent on physician and hospitals charges. Employers have been working together to negotiate excellent pricing for our members for the past 15 years. We offer the following networks to our member companies:

Fort Smith Area Networks:

EHC Choice Network includes 98% of area providers and all area hospitals.

EHC Health Point Network includes Cooper Clinic physicians, independent physicians, St. Edwards Mercy Medical Center and affiliated hospitals.

EHC Premier includes Sparks Medical Foundation providers, independent providers and Sparks Regional Medical Centers and affiliated hospitals

Hot Springs Area Networks:

EHC of Hot Springs Network includes St. Joseph’s Mercy Medical Center, St. Joseph’s Mercy Medical Clinic providers as well as Health First and independent providers.

Regional and National Healthcare Networks:

For healthcare services outside of the Fort Smith and Hot Springs area our member companies can choose to offer the HealthLink Network through a direct agreement with the coalition. HealthLink allows members to have access to providers in other parts of Arkansas and surrounding states. For our members who travel or live in a different part of the country, member companies can choose to access the HPO Network through EHC.
